Whimsical and boho wedding styled shoot at Escrick Park Estate

This could be something straight out of a Jane Austin Novel. Whimsical meets boho in a perfect English country garden. Last Friday, five local wedding specialists gathered to showcase what we do -and boy did we!

Flawless, soft, glamorous make up by Michaela which passed the test of time and sunshine effortlessly.

Hair by Kacey Soft waves, intricate twists and pinned pieces all carefully adapted to suit each dress.

Beautiful made to measure dresses by A Country Bride. The fabulous thing is that you can change the tops and skirts to tailor your look. Whether its a classic ivory satin or a princess tulle skirt, each is impactful with delicate lace and bead work in the tops.

Flowers by Lisa’s Florist Their arrangements were just incredible! Anemone, wax flower, roses, succulents… the list goes on! They made such an impression on the photoshoot and could be paired with all the looks from the day. The headpiece definitely had ‘show stopper’ appeal we just couldn’t get enough of it.

Last but not least, the magical venue that is Escrick Park Estate We were spoilt for choice with this venue. We started at the Ancient Oak woodland, where a hand crafted alter takes pride of place under the boughs of the 18th century woods. It was simply magical and would make for the most unique wedding day.

Skipwith Hall

We then continued on to Skipwith Hall, where we took a walk through the private gardens of this Queen Ann Manor House. This venue is pure elegance with its colourful borders and manicured lawns, cockleshell paths and even a pretty pond with fountain in the centre.

This is also where we discovered the charming ‘Little Theatre’ and had the pleasure of meeting a very handsome horse named Axel, who makes a cameo appearance in the photoshoot.
